Mitsuru, a brilliant student who is not good at socializing, and Koichi,
a cheerful and popular student in class. They are 17-year-old classmates. Because of their opposite personalities, they are strongly attracted to each other. One morning, however, Koichi is hit by a truck right in front of Mitsuru. Koichi stands up with a nonchalant look on his face even though he must have been hit hard on the head. With no pulse or heartbeat, Koichi gives his usual smile to Mitsuru, who accepts this contradiction and believe Koichi is “alive.”
His classmates, however, gradually begin to forget Koichi's existence...
